The Hudson Valley Community College Athletics Department captured its 100th Conference Championship after it was announced that the men's baseball team won the Mountain Valley Conference earlier today.

Only one team per sport can win a conference each year, so it is significant that Hudson Valley has done this 100 times.

This is the tenth Conference Championship Hudson Valley has garnered under Director of Athletics Kristan Pelletier since she took over in 2008. "This accomplishment is a credit to Hudson Valley Community College as a whole. An honor such as this exemplifies our commitment to excellence and the sustainability of the infrastructure at our institution through the years. Our coaches excel at preparing our student-athletes to compete for championships year in and year out," states Pelletier.

The men's baseball team and women's softball team will both be competing for a Region III Championship this weekend.
