Track and Field (Men's and Women's)

New sport for Spring 2018!

Men's and women's track and field is returning to Hudson Valley Community College and will compete in the spring of 2018.

Head coach Jeffrey York has begun recruiting in preparation for the upcoming season. This is York's second collegiate coaching position after a stretch from 1996-2003 as an assistant coach at the University at Albany.

The men and women will host their home meets at the new Outdoor Athletic Complex. The facility features a 400-meter, eight-lane track, pits for long jump and triple jump, and a high jump apron area. Adjacent to the track is the natural grass field where the throwing events will take place.

Hudson Valley organized its first track and field team in 1969, with Thomas Rogan as the head coach. During his tenure, the track and field team had 11 undefeated seasons and captured eight Region 3 Championships.
