The Hudson Valley Community College women’s basketball team (2-4) lost to Albany Pharmacy (2-3) 54-50 on Tuesday evening.
Down by one at the end of the first half, the Vikings rallied to outscore the Panthers in the third quarter to take a 39-34 lead. With 1:30 left in the fourth quarter, the score was tied 47-47 before Kali Szczepanski (Watervliet/Watervliet) hit a three to put the Vikings up 50-47. The Panthers answered with a layup and came up with a big defensive stop. After a timeout, Albany Pharmacy scored on another layup to take the lead.
