All of the classes needed to complete the Teaching Assistant certificate can be completed online. It is possible for you to complete the certification without ever taking a campus-based class. Students interested in taking online courses, certificates or degrees must have ready access to a computer with an internet connection. It’s important to note that online students must be self-motivated, organized and possess strong time management skills. They thrive on the convenience of being able to “attend class” on their own schedule.

An important note about tuition for online students who live outside New York State: Students residing outside New York State who take online courses exclusively will be charged New York State resident rates. For more information, contact the Cashier's office.
