Forrest “Goody” Guth was a corporal with Easy Company of the 101st Airborne Division who parachuted into Normandy the night before D-Day with the mission of securing the beaches, roads and bridges leading inland. Easy Company’s heroics were the focus of an HBO “Band of Brothers” episode. Guth also was involved in other World War II missions, including a combat mission in Bastogne, Belgium.
||Enter the Hudson Valley Community College campus via North Road (the entrance with the electronic sign on Route 4). Take your first right into the parking lot. The Bulmer Telecommunications Center is the large building with antennae towers on it. The auditorium is straight through the doors.
