More than 1,800 Attend New Student Orientation at Hudson Valley Community College

What: More than 1,800 students, parents and guests are expected to attend Hudson Valley Community College's New Student Orientation. The event features sessions on academic advisement, career and transfer options, financial aid, online learning, student activities, support services and more. Participants will have the opportunity to talk with faculty and staff, meet fellow classmates, visit student club and organization information tables and tour the campus. College business and advisement offices are open throughout the morning.

A special Saturday Instant Admission event also will be held from 8:30 a.m. to noon, at the Guenther Enrollment Services Center, Room 223. For more information, call the Admissions Office at (518) 629-7309. Fall classes begin Wednesday, Aug. 25.
