Snow Sculpture Competitors Have Lots to Work with at Hudson Valley Community College This Year

What: The newly fallen snow provides a wide open canvas for the annual snow sculpture competition taking place Wednesday, Feb 4 at 1 p.m. on Hudson Valley Community College’s Campus Quad. Students will work individually or in teams to compete for three top prizes and will have half an hour to complete their sculptures.
Why: The competition is an opportunity for students to be creative, have fun and socialize.
Where: Hudson Valley Community College, 80 Vandenburgh Avenue, Troy
When: 1 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 4
Details: Prizes to be awarded to the three winning sculptures are gift certificates of $100, $50 and $25, respectively, for Viking’s Cove Book Store. All participants receive a movie ticket to Regal Cinemas.
