College Readiness is Focus of Capital District EOC Open House

What: The Capital District Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) is holding an open house to highlight its College Connections and College Preparation programs. Prospective students are invited to learn about the EOC’s College Readiness Certificate, how to apply for college financial aid and support services to assist those who seek to enroll.
Who: Anyone who is interested in attending college; high school students, out-of-school youth; and adults 18 and older who are considering college.
Where: Capital District Educational Opportunity Center, 431 River St, Troy
When: 4 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2015
Details: EOC staff will present information on how to access services and courses for individuals interested in attending college but unsure how to enroll. Attendees will learn about the college admissions and financial aid application process and the courses and workshops the EOC offers to qualified students to begin that process in a supportive environment.
