Journeys - From Rural New York to the Ends of the Earth

Ella Derbyshire, MD, a 1995 graduate of Hudson Valley Community College and current Village-Based Physician in Unalakleet, Alaska, discusses the long road to becoming a physician and some of the unique challenges and rewards of serving as a physician at Amundsen Scott South Pole Station and providing primary and emergency healthcare in remote Indigenous Alaskan communities.
