How to access Kronos

Important Note: Kronos requires the use of a browser that supports Adobe flash. Firefox and Internet Explorer are the recommended browsers on all VDI machines.

Visit https://kronos.hvcc.edu in a web browser and log in with your username and password.

How to enable Flash Player on VDI machines

If you encounter a blank screen or a plugin error similar to "This plugin is vulnerable and should be updated" or "This application requires Adobe Flash Player" when accessing Kronos on a VDI machine, follow these steps to enable Flash player in your browser.

Windows 7 on VDI Machines (STDOffice)

Firefox
  1. Left click the "manage plugin use" plugin icon to the left of the URL in the browser address bar. This will display a message asking you want to allow Adobe Flash to run.

    • If available below the message, check "Remember this decision" before continuing.
  2. Click Allow
  3. Kronos should now load successfully.
    • Note: If the "Remember this decision" option was not available to you, you will need to repeat these steps each time you open your browser and log into Kronos.

Internet Explorer
  • No plugin settings need to be adjusted to run Flash.
Chrome
  • Not supported on VDI machines. Please use Firefox or Internet Explorer instead.

 

Windows 10 on VDI Machines (ACESTD)

Firefox

  1. Left click the "manage plugin use" plugin icon to the left of the URL in the browser address bar. This will display a message asking you want to allow Adobe Flash to run.

  2. Click Allow
  3. Kronos should now load successfully.
    • Note: If the "Remember this decision" option was not available to you, you will need to repeat these steps each time you open your browser and log into Kronos.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Click the "Get Flash" link below the "Get Adobe Flash Player" image.

  2. A message box will appear on the top right side of the browser saying "Adobe Flash content was blocked". Click "Always Allow".

  3. Kronos should now load successfully.

Internet Explorer

  • No plugin settings need to be adjusted to run Flash.

Chrome

  • Not supported on VDI machines. Please use Firefox or Internet Explorer instead.
