Each student may purchase two movie tickets at $5 each totaling $10.
Regal Theater movie tickets are sold on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and 4 to 6 p.m. for evening students only.

9/11 Memorial and Reflection
Tuesday, September 11, 2018

The campus community is invited to the Veterans’ Memorial Monument (quad area) on Tuesday, Sept. 11 at noon for a moment of silence to honor and pay tribute to victims of the September 11, 2001 terrorists attacks in New York City, Washington D.C. and Pennsylvania.

The event will provide students and staff an opportunity to reflect on the tragic event and share how they believe our lives have changed since. A video documentary commemorating the 9/11 assault will be shown in the Maureen Stapleton Theatre from 10 a.m. to noon.

Students will be able to express their thoughts on a banner in the Siek Campus Center from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Come on over to the Joe Bruno Stadium for our annual Fall Festival! There will be plenty of food, beverages and music.

The Viking Cup Challenge, a student vs. faculty/staff softball game, begins at noon. Sign up in the Student Activities Office with your college ID if you want to play!  All are welcome to come watch the game!

Pumpkin Palooza Student Festival

Students can pick up their pumpkins in the Student Activities Office (CTR 210) to decorate. Bring your decorated pumpkin to the Siek Campus Center Lobby on Thursday, Oct. 25 by 11:45 a.m. to enter the contest.

Judging of pumpkin decoration competition takes place from noon to 1 p.m.

Student Honors and Awards Ceremony
Friday, May 17, 2019
6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
McDonough Sports Complex

This ceremony recognizes the college’s highest achieving graduates who have earned a G.P.A. of 3.5 or above as well as special award recipients. Invited students and their guests are welcome to attend this special event.

Students must wear their academic honors regalia to the ceremony. All students attending the ceremony should check-in by 5 p.m. at the Conway Ice Rink, located in the McDonough Sports Complex. Guests should arrive prior to the start of the 6 p.m. ceremony, go into the field house and be seated. There is no limit to the number of guests who may attend.

Students and guests are invited to enjoy refreshments in the ice rink following the ceremony.

 

65th Annual Commencement Ceremony

Doors open to family/guests at 7:30 a.m.
Graduates assemble in the McDonough Sports Complex field house at 7:30 a.m.
Procession begins at 8:45 a.m.
