Home Schooled Students
Hudson Valley Community College
welcomes home schooled students.
Whether you are looking to supplement your home
school curriculum, or enroll as a full-time student,
our outstanding professors, affordable cost and
extensive course offerings will meet your needs!
Please contact Director of Admissions Mary Claire Bauer at (518) 629-4603, for detailed information on enrollment options for home schooled students. Once you reach the maximum compulsory attendance age, you can enroll as an officially matriculated student at Hudson Valley Community College. Matriculating into the college allows you the opportunity to work towards one of more than 80 degree and certificate programs or high school equivalency, access financial aid, and become a part of our successful alumni association!
Many home school groups advocate for students to take a college-level course or two as they approach the end of their secondary education. The Office of Continuing Education and Summer Sessions is here to assist you. Taking a college course allows you to become familiar with expectations and the increasing demands of school. You also can make new friends and explore a special area of interest.
We offer courses throughout the Capital Region and beyond through off campus and online learning. Take a minute to schedule an advisement appointment by calling (518) 629-7338, for help with planning your educational goals!
