Outages Scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 21

On Sunday, Aug. 21, 2016 at 5 a.m., power to most of the Troy campus will be shut down to complete a utility project with National Grid. There will be no network or internet access in all campus buildings and locations. In addition, campus telephone service may also be impacted. It is expected that power will be restored at approximately 5 p.m.

Public Safety will be open, however all emergency phones (including blue light phones), will not be functional. Emergencies should be reported by dialing 911 from personal phones.

NOTE: Power outages will not affect Joseph L. Bruno Stadium or the Science Center. However, as noted above, telephone, network and internet access will not be available. Off campus users will still be able to access college services (WIReD, email, web, etc.), barring any unforeseen circumstances.

As a reminder, MyHudsonValley Portal/Blackboard will be unavailable from Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016 at 12:01 a.m. through Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2016 at 4 p.m. for the transition to SaaS.
