Welcome Week Experience: Picnic Day
11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m., Student Pavilion (behind Siek Campus Center)
(Rain location: Conway Ice Rink, McDonough Sports Complex)
Welcome Back BBQ
Enjoy smokehouse brisket and chicken, corn on the cob, macaroni salad, cookies, brownies, cotton candy, snow cones and beverages, plus games, a caricature artist and bluegrass music by Jim Gaudet and the Railroad Boys. 

Wednesday, Aug. 31
Welcome Week Experience: Campus Club Day
8:30 – 9 a.m., Interfaith Prayer Room, Siek Campus Center (second floor)
Meditation with Cylon George, campus chaplain

11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m., Clock Tower (Rain location: Siek Campus Center lobby)
Visit club tables to meet club leaders and sign-up for a variety of student activities, plus Afro-Latin, reggae-rock fusion by Taina Asili y la Banda Rebelde.

Thursday, Sept. 1
Welcome Week Experience: Sports Challenge Day
11:30 – 2 p.m., in front of Siek Campus Center (Rain location: Conway Ice Rink)
Participate in a free throw competition with the Vikings' basketball coaches and/or an accuracy and distance quarterback challenge with the Vikings' football coaches. Enjoy hamburgers, hot dogs, cookies and more as well as games (Can-Jam or volleyball), sports-themed giveaways and high-energy funk by Jeff Nania and The Elements.

12:30 – 1 p.m., in front of Siek Campus Center (Rain location: Conway Ice Rink)
Wiffle Ball challenge with President Drew Matonak

Welcome Week Experience: Music and Ice Cream
10:30 a.m. – noon, in front of Marvin Library (Rain location: Siek Campus Center lobby)
Relax to the music of classical guitarist Paul Quigley to close out an exciting first week of classes and make your own ice cream sundae (11 a.m. – noon).
