An accredited Veterans Benefits Advisor from the New York State Division of Veterans Affairs is available. Stop by the Wellness Center or call (518) 629-7320 to make an appointment for assistance with any state or federal veteran benefits including but not limited to: GI Bill, vocational rehabilitation, compensation and pension, VA healthcare, survivor's benefits, home loan guaranty, review of discharge, burial. If you are unsure of your eligibility or whether a program may benefit you, please take the time to stop by.

VOYA Knowledge Night at the EOC
5 to 7 p.m., Capital District Educational Opportunity Center, 431 River Street, Troy
The EOC offers tuition-free academic and workforce development opportunities to disadvantaged and educationally under-prepared New York residents 16 years and older. This presentation, sponsored by Voices of Youth Advisors (VOYA), will include all programs and services that the EOC has to offer, support systems within the school, as well as touch on Financial Aid/FAFSA, scholarships, and how to apply to both colleges and the EOC.
