Monday, Dec. 5
Pride of Our Nation… Pride of Our College Exhibition
7 a.m. to 10 p.m., Troy Savings Bank Charitable Foundation Atrium, Marvin Library Learning Commons
The sixth annual "Pride of Our Nation… Pride of Our College" exhibition is on view through Wednesday, Dec. 7. The exhibit, a collaborative effort on the part of employees from several departments, is an ever-expanding collection of photographs and memorabilia of veterans and active military service members with a connection to the college. Open to the public during regular library hours: 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday-Wednesday.

Veteran Benefits Advisor
8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wellness Center, Siek Campus Center, suite 270
An accredited Veterans Benefits Advisor from the New York State Division of Veterans Affairs is available. Stop by the Wellness Center or call (518) 629-7320 to make an appointment for assistance with any state or federal veteran benefit including but not limited to: GI Bill, vocational rehabilitation, compensation and pension, VA healthcare, survivor's benefits, home loan guaranty, review of discharge, or burial. If you are unsure of your eligibility or whether a program may benefit you, please take the time to stop by.

Sound Escapes: Soothing Sound Chamber & Labyrinth Walk
10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Siek Campus Center, room 204
Be transported by the psycho-acoustic sounds of the symphonic gong, crystal singing bowls, Native American flute, monochord, chimes and other exotic world instruments. Palpable sound waves move over the skin, nourishing the nervous system with therapeutic sound presented by Amy McTear. Plus Labyrinth walking, a practice used worldwide as a way to quiet the mind, recover a balance in life, and encourage meditation, insight, self-reflection, stress reduction, innovation, and celebration. The practice is a non-denominational, cross-cultural blueprint for well-being, open to all, integrating the body, mind, and spirit. Come and go as needed. Drop in for a quick fix or stay for deep immersion. Yoga mats, cushions and snacks will be will be provided. Sponsored by the Campus Ministry.

Tuesday, Dec. 6
Heart Beatz: Therapeutic Drumming
11 to 11:50 a.m., Wellness Center, Siek Campus Center, room 270
An open-to-all therapeutic drumming group offers an outlet for rhythmic expression. No obligation: Participate at your convenience! Equipment provided; no experience necessary. Presented by the Wellness Center.

Wednesday, Dec. 7
Instant Admission Day
8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Guenther Enrollment Services Center, room 223
The Admissions Office hosts an Instant Admit Day for the Spring 2017 semester. The $30 application fee is waived. Prospective students should bring high school/college transcripts, as well as GED score reports if applicable, to receive a decision on the spot. Those wishing to begin the financial aid process should bring their 2015 tax returns. Information contact: Admissions, (518) 629-7309.

Holiday Silent Auction
9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Siek Campus Center, 1st floor
The Automotive A-Tech Club hosts its first-ever Silent Auction to raise funds for the club. Many great holiday gift items will be offered for bid, including gift cards, merchandise, movie tickets and more!

NY State of Health – National Youth Enrollment Day
10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Siek Campus Center, 2nd floor (in front of the Wellness Center, room 270)
NY State of Health will be on campus to highlight National Youth Enrollment Day and to get the word out about affordable coverage available through the Marketplace to students who may need health insurance. National Youth Enrollment Day is a national movement; young people, communities and organizations come together in a unified effort to ensure young adults know about their health care options and enroll in health coverage. Friday, Dec. 9
36th Annual Meritorious Service Awards & Pinning Ceremony
3 to 5:30 p.m., Bulmer Telecommunications Center Auditorium
The college community honors recipients of meritorious service awards, presented annually to nominated employees for outstanding job performance, and also recognizes employees who have been with the college for five or more years of consecutive service. Service recognition pins are awarded in five-year increments. A reception follows the ceremony.

Holiday Banquet
6:30 to 10 p.m., Siek Campus Center, 2nd floor dining hall
Annual Holiday Banquet presented by Student Activities. (Reservations closed Dec. 1.)

Saturday & Sunday, Dec. 10 & 11
Public Ice Skating
4 to 6:15 p.m., Conway Ice Rink, McDonough Sports Complex
Open recreational skating for all ages is offered at the 18,000-square-foot rink from 4 to 6:15 p.m. weekends and noon to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday through Sunday, March 7, 2017. Admission rates: $2 for children 2 to 17 years old; $2 for seniors (60+); and $3 for adults. Skate rentals: $3 each, toddlers through adults.
