WHY: Investment in job training and workforce development in emerging industries will strengthen New York State's energy workforce and economy. Attendees of the event will have an opportunity to hear from local elected officials, current PV installation students at the Workforce Development Institute and senior representatives from the college and Cypress Creek Renewables.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- Congressman Paul Tonko, Rensselaer County Executive Steve McLaughlin, State Senator George Amedore and State Assembly Members Patricia Fahy, John McDonald, and Phil Steck are expected to attend the event.
