Free Concert Featuring Claudia Gibson, Singer/Songwriter on March 28

March 25, 2019

Claudia Gibson, an award-winning singer/songwriter from Texas, will present a free concert on Thursday, March 28 at Hudson Valley Community College. The concert will run from noon to 1 p.m. in the Bulmer Telecommunications Center Auditorium on the Troy campus and is open to the public.

Through myriad jobs and life roles, Gibson wrote songs. Even while raising three children, she never stopped writing, playing guitar and singing her songs, and recently resumed pursuing a music career in a serious way. Her first all-original music album, “Step By Step,” made the 2017 Roots Music Report’s Top Americana Country Album Chart and garnered significant air time on independent radio in the U.S. and Europe. “Dreamers,” a song produced by Gordy Quist, won first place in the 2018 Woody Guthrie Folk Festival Songwriting Competition, held in July in Okemah, OK. Gibson also appeared at the famed Dripping Springs (Texas) Songwriters’ Festival in October 2018. Visit www.claudiagibson.com to hear Gibson’s award-winning music.

No tickets or reservations are needed to attend this free event.
