Internships
The college offers a chance for students to gain valuable work experience through internship opportunities.
Business Administration Internship (BADM 290) is open to Business Administration majors, but students in other academic programs also may be eligible to receive credit for this opportunity.
Disney College Program
For more than a decade, the college has worked with the Disney College Program at its resorts in Florida and California. This unique real-world work experience allows you to refine the skills and knowledge you've gained in school, working with the public and fellow college interns from around the world.
Hudson Valley students have been interning at Disney for two decades and at least one or two students from the college are accepted each year.
Tri-City ValleyCats
The college also offers an internship opportunity with the Tri-City ValleyCats, a Frontier League professional baseball team that calls the college’s Joe Bruno Stadium home. Students in this internship work directly with staff from the ValleyCats and gain experience in marketing, sales, data analysis and business development strategies.
Other Opportunities
There are many additional local and regional internship opportunities open to Hudson Valley students taking BADM 290, and you can earn up to six credits through the internship of your choice.
More Information
An internship can only be undertaken after successful completion of one full-time semester of study or successful completion of 12 credit hours at Hudson Valley, and must be approved by the department chairperson. Prior to applying, students should contact their academic advisor to see if the course fits into their program.
