Students who earn the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Social Justice associate degree will be equipped with a critical and culturally-conscious perspective to pursue careers that will make a positive impact on the world. As diversity and equity in the workplace and culture have become priorities, the knowledge and skills acquired through this program will prove useful in any post-graduate career decision.

The program will immerse students in a curriculum that fosters their ability to think critically and express empowered perspectives.

This degree is also designed to provide the first two years of a four-year degree in sociology or another degree in the humanities and social sciences. Transfer pathways with public and private colleges and universities are being developed for students looking to continue their education.

This program is offered by the Education and Social Sciences Department.
