Automotive Service Technician Training
The Automotive Service Technician Pre-Apprenticeship Program will allow students to explore the basics of electric vehicle servicing, automotive electricity and oscilloscopes. While some automotive service experience is suggested prior to enrolling in the course, it is not required. In addition to technical training, participants will also gain knowledge about professional, leadership and communication skills necessary to succeed in the automotive service technician field.
The course will take place from 6:00-10:00 pm on November 12-13 (Tuesday and Wednesday), November 25-26 (Monday and Tuesday) and December 3-4 (Tuesday and Wednesday).
The following topics will be addressed during the first two courses (November 12-13): high-voltage personal protective equipment (PPE); high-voltage types, application, care and usage; vehicle high-voltage disconnects; high-voltage tooling, requirements and recommendations; and thermal event prevention and extinguishing.
Automotive electricity fundamentals will be addressed in the third and fourth courses (November 25-26), including basic automotive electrical components; automotive electricity theory; circuit types and calculations; circuit design and operations; automotive circuit diagnostics; and automotive wiring diagrams.
The final two courses (December 3-4) will address automotive oscilloscopes and will include the following topics: automotive electrical measuring equipment; scope measurement setup; connection types; scope accessories; typical automotive measurements (relative compression, can bus, ignition, fuel injection and supply, etc.); and storing oscilloscope recordings. Students are encouraged to bring their scopes to become familiar with its operation. The school will provide scopes for students to use if needed.

CDL Class A
This course is for those seeking to qualify for the Class A CDL Skills test. The curriculum prepares students to meet Theory and Behind the Wheel Vehicle training per the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Entry Level Driver Training (ELDT) requirements. The curriculum is 102 hours in length and consists of three parts. The first part is one week or 40 hours of classroom, lab, and Learning Management System (LMS) instruction. Completion of this part leads to the ELDT Theory certification and Commercial Learner's Permit (CLP). The second part is 60 hours of Behind the Wheel (BTW) vehicle instruction to prepare the student for FMCSA Range and Public Road ELDT proficiency requirements for the Class A CDL skills test (road test). The final portion of the program is scheduling for 2 hours for the state Skills Test (road test). Preparation and scheduling for the CDL Skills test on an automatic only transmission vehicle is included.

CDL Class B
This Course is for those seeking to qualify for the Class B Truck CDL Skills test. Certified Clinical Medical Assistant with Voucher

Drone Remote Pilot FAA Test Prep Online
Keep up with changing Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requirements to remain ahead of the curve among commercial drone pilots. Anyone operating a drone for commercial or business purpose must obtain an FAA remote pilot certification. This highly-focused course prepares you for the test to receive this certification.
Beyond drone-specific material, students in this course will gain an understanding of much of the ground-school information covered in the FAA’s knowledge test. Topics include regulations relating to small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS); airspace classification, interpretation of sectional navigation charts, operating requirements, and flight restrictions; aviation weather sources and effects; small unmanned aircraft loading and performance; emergency procedures; aeronautical decision-making and crew resource management; radio communication procedures; physiological effects of drugs and alcohol; airport operations; and maintenance and preflight inspection procedures.
The remote pilot knowledge test Unmanned Aircraft – General includes 60 questions and requires a passing score of 70 percent. The test costs $150, paid separately to the Knowledge Testing Center. With successful completion of the test, you can apply for a remote pilot certificate for FAA Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations part 107.
Students new to drone piloting should precede this course with the comprehensive Drone Pilot Training – Hands-On Introduction Course, which provides the skills and information you need to start piloting drones safely and legally.

Local Infiltration Anesthesia/Nitrous Oxide
The New York State Board of Regents has established requirements for licensed dental hygienists to obtain a restricted certificate to administer local infiltration anesthesia and nitrous oxide analgesia in the practice of dental hygiene under the personal supervision of a licensed dentist. Upon the successful completion of this course, the dental hygienist will be able to apply for certification through the New York State Education Department. 35 credit (contact hours) will be awarded at the completion of the course. Prerequisites: In order to attend this course, participants are required to show proof of current BPR/BLS certification for health care professionals and proof of current New York Dental Hygiene licensure is required prior to the initial class meeting. Paralegal Certificate Course
This nationally-acclaimed program through the Center for Legal Studies is designed for beginning and advanced legal workers. Welding Basics
This 24-hour non-credit course will introduce students to the Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) process. Virtual reality welding systems will also be utilized to allow students to learn the required skills more quickly compared to traditional methods.
